Josh Asokan | Artistic Director

Josh is an orchestral conductor, concert pianist, public speaker, and refugee law practitioner. Having performed across 4 continents and around the UK, Josh has won a number of awards and was endorsed by Arts Council England in 2023 under the Global Talent scheme as an emerging leader in the UK music industry. 

Josh is passionate about justice for the vulnerable and spent three years working in a specialist law firm in Oxfordshire as a refugee lawyer. Accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales, Josh represented unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in their claims and Tribunal proceedings. He is regularly invited to speak on refugee law and policy in a number of different contexts, ranging from radio interviews and podcasts to UN panel discussions. 

Peter Mawditt | Trustee

Peter has extensive global executive leadership, senior management and change management experience across blue chip multinational financial institutions, international faith-based NGO sectors, and international businesses. Peter’s experience spans 10 years in strategic consulting and impact investing, 5 years in international leadership roles in the NGO sector, 22 years in financial services in executive roles in international banking across Southeast Asia and the UK, plus 12 years in the UK public finance sector. In recent years, he has helped co-found two social innovation firms focussed on consultancy and impact investment across different continents and cultures.

His passion is to coach and develop the next generation of visionary entrepreneurial leaders, businesses and missions to achieve their goals and fulfil their potential. Peter is a trustee of three charities.

Jane Whitfield | Trustee

Jane is a highly respected charity law solicitor with over 20 years of experience, blending commercial savvy with academic prowess. Specialising in charity law and private client work since 2000, she has established herself as a leading practitioner, noted public speaker, and law influencer at both local and national levels. Jane has held significant positions including partner and Head of Trusts & Charities at a law firm in Reading, senior charity lawyer at Edward Connor Solicitors, and is currently Head of the Private Client Department at Elite Law Solicitors.

Active in professional societies, she was President of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Law Society (2019-2023) and chaired the Law Society’s Wills and Equity Committee (2014-2017). Jane is a published author, contributing to significant works on charity law, and serves as a trustee for a number of charities. Jane is a trained musician and plays the cello in two local orchestras.
