Kate Clancy MBE | Poet Mentor

Kate Clanchy has taught poetry to all sorts of people in Oxford for more than 20 years: in both universities, in most of the schools, and notably at Oxford Spires Academy where she was poet in residence for a decade and edited the anthology England Poems from a School. Previously Oxford's City Poet, Kate currently runs Sanctuary Arts at Mansfield College, bring the city and university together in creative projects with migrants and refugees. Kate’s own books include award-winning poetry, short stories, memoir and a novel. Her latest book is How To Grow Your Own Poem, (Swift Press). Kate believes everyone can write a poem.
