Gloria Lecesse-Debney | Trustee, Communications Lead
Gloria has worked in the NGO sector for almost 8 years and is specialised in human rights advocacy. Throughout her career she led human rights advocacy efforts at the United Nations in Geneva, with the UK government, and contributed to global campaigns addressing human rights issues in India and sub-Saharan Africa.
Gloria briefly worked as a senior policy adviser at the UK Supreme Court before starting her current position as Advocacy and Campaigns Manager at Embrace the Middle East, a Christian development charity working with some of the most marginalised communities in the region.
Gloria has an MSc in international human rights law from the University of Oxford, a Masters in international relations and European studies and an undergraduate degree in politics from the University of Florence (Italy).
